The role?

The HR Admin/Office Manager will play a pivotal role in managing HR & Office administrative tasks, supporting recruitment processes and ensuring compliance with local labor laws. This position requires a proactive individual who can handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.


As a HR Admin/Office Manager supporting the tech and product team reporting to the HR Director you’ll be responsible for:


Recruitment:

  • Assist with the recruitment logistics including, job postings, screening resumes, scheduling & conducting interviews.
  • Coordinate with hiring managers and candidates throughout the recruitment process.


Onboarding:

  • Carrying out employee onboarding, including preparation of employment contracts, consultancy agreements induction and orientations.


Offboarding

  • Carrying out employee offboarding, including preparation of release agreements, exit interviews, return of company property etc


Employee Engagement

  • Help organize employee engagement activities and training programs.


HR/Office Administration:

  • Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Employment laws and compliance.
  • Maintaining the company rules and policies.
  • Ordering of supplies for the office


Performance Management

  • Assist with the performance review process & following up with relevant managers for completion


What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Fluency in English (verbal and written) is required, Sinhala is desirable
  • 2+ years of experience in HR/Office administration or a similar role.
  • Good knowledge of local labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Good Communication, interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite/ Google workspace
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • You are self-motivated and have a result-oriented mindset, you hustle to get things done and proactively find ways to reach and over achieve your targets.
