As a Linux Systems Administrator, You will leverage your deep expertise in Linux systems to deploy, manage, and support applications in the Cloud service.
Please Note: This position operates according to the USA calendar and Mountain Time (MT) zone. For our team in Brazil, this means your work schedule will be aligned with a different time zone, offering a unique international work dynamic.
What You'll Do (Responsibilities)
You'll be a key player in ensuring the stability, performance, and security of our client's systems.
Configure and manage Linux virtual servers and related technologies (with some Windows).
Perform IFS application upgrades, install patches, and resolve technical problems.
Automate processes to streamline daily operations and enhance workflows.
Provide Level 2-3 technical support for both internal and external customers.
Maintain clear and comprehensive technical documentation.
Occasionally, you will be on-call to isolate and resolve performance, availability, or security issues.
Requisitos:
What You'll Bring (Qualifications)
We're looking for someone with a passion for technology and a proven track record in systems administration.
8-10 years of experience in Linux systems administration and/or development.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
Full understanding of Linux systems administration and best practices.
Advanced Bash scripting skills.
Solid knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP.
Experience with Citrix Application configuration and administration.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong desire for root cause analysis.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Skills That Are a Plus (Good to Have)
RHCSA or MCSA certification.
UniData administration experience.
Previous developer experience.
