About the Role
The Quality, Risk and Governance area at Diageo strives to improve procurement excellence while minimizing region-specific risks. This role is critical for driving operational efficiency and ensuring compliance with high performance standards while unlocking productivity in the LAC region
Key Responsibilities
Technical Expertise: Collaborate with teams to ensure compliance with quality systems and high-quality industry standards.
Continuous Improvement: Cultivate a culture of operational excellence and risk mitigation.
Capability Building: Develop training programs for the Risk & Governance team.
Supplier Management: Work with suppliers to ensure compliance and performance on operational leading industry standards.
Risk Identification and Mitigation: Develop robust contingency plans.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ensure risks are addressed across departments.
Qualifications
Strong Procurement Process Knowledge (from Sourcing to Business continuity)
Strong Risk Management skills to manage multiple tasks and drive value in complex environments.
Strategic approach with proven cross-functional team leadership abilities.
Solid understanding of operations and supply chain management, with expertise in quality systems and standards.
Capable of delivering training and enhancing team skills through clear communication.
Skilled in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks in operations and supply chain processes.
Experienced in managing procurement processes from planning to performance monitoring.
Strong communication in English and Spanish (written and spoken)
Soft Skills:
Proactive approach focused on driving process enhancements.
Strong ability to work effectively across departments such as procurement, legal, and operations.
Excellent analytical skills for identifying problems and implementing effective solutions.
Teamwork orientation and leadership qualities.
