About the role
The Quality Supervisor will develop and lead the quality program at the Firm. They will be responsible for ensuring high quality output of cases and other filings the Firm submits to USCIS. Initially, this person will partner with operations to define quality checks, frequency and methods. Subsequently, they will monitor the quality data and work with an analyst to provide actionable insights to the operations team. Ultimately, this role will be accountable for ensuring that individual and process gaps are resolved within the process to prevent continued quality defects.
Schedule: Monday to Friday 9am-6pm EST
Payrate: $15 USD/hr
What you'll do
- · Under the direction of the quality manager, assess the current quality check points and SOPs. Verify what is being done in practice vs design. Provide recommendations for improvements on opportunities to standardize the process.
- · Partner with the quality analyst to evaluate measured quality data.
- · Perform root cause analysis on quality issues to determine the true issue that needs to be addressed and partner with operations leaders to drive process or technological improvements to address
- · Support the development and revision of standard operating procedures (SOPs), quality control processes, and quality assurance protocols.
- · Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
- · Build and leverage quality metrics with operations to monitor the process.
- · Assist in the preparation and facilitation of internal audits
Qualification
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements (Essential Skills, Knowledge & Abilities)
1. BA or BS in related discipline
2. Five to 5 years’ experience in quality
3. Experience with engineering process improvements
4. 2+ years’ direct leadership experience preferred
5. Strong technological skills, can understand system design and intent
6. Experience with MS Word, Excel, Project Management and Analytics software
7. Lean/6s Green Belt preferred
8. QMS Implementation Experience preferred
9. Relevant Project or Process Certifications (e.g. PMP, APICS, SQF) preferred
1 10. Experience executing and improving in a quality program
