What you’ll do:
As a Senior Developer in the Catalog team, you'll collaborate with a highly skilled and entrepreneurial group of colleagues to build enterprise-ready software. Our team plays a key role in delivering core applications in Datasphere and Business Data Cloud.
Your responsibilities will span the entire development lifecycle—from ideation and architecture to design, implementation, and optimization of innovative services and applications. As a senior developer, you’ll take ownership of complex technical challenges and contribute significantly to our strategic direction. You will help customers harness the power of cloud-scale innovation while integrating seamlessly with their complex existing systems.

What you bring:
As a Senior Software Developer, this is what you bring to the table:
- Advanced development skills in one or more programming languages such as JavaScript or TypeScript and Node.js.
- Strong comprehension abilities, commitment to high-quality results, and a proactive, self-directed working style.
- Experience with architectural patterns and best practices for both frontend and microservices to build scalable, end-to-end solutions.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field.
- Proven experience across the full software development lifecycle—from design and implementation to testing, deployment, and optimization.
- Experience leading technical topics within a team and supporting more junior developers.
- Fluency in both written and spoken English.

You’ll work closely with colleagues across the SAP Datasphere landscape to ensure successful implementation of customer requirements, deliver meaningful outcomes, and continuously evolve our solutions based on feedback.
