Your Next Career Opportunity – Senior Manager, Accounting - International
Assist with all financial accounting and internal financial reporting activities of the international subsidiaries of the Company.
What You Will Do – Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee the financial statement close for the international subsidiaries.
- Oversee internal reporting function which includes but is not limited to financial statements, consolidations, and monthly package.
- Streamline and improve processes over closing and internal reporting.
- Prepare analysis of the financial statements on a monthly basis.
- Assist in the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting process.
- Oversee the Quarterly reviews and Year- end audit.
- Oversee the preparation of quarterly analytics for external audit process.
- Assist with Sarbanes Oxley documentation and test requirements.
- Oversee the completion and review of the month-end close.
- Manage multiple projects as directed by the Corporate Controller or Chief Accounting Officer.
- Oversee and review the work performed by Accounting Supervisor and Accounting Manager.
- Oversee local statutory books.
- Coordinate with local Finance Managers and their teams as well as local Accounting firms.
- Ensure compliance with all SBA policies and procedures.
- Other Responsibilities:
- Assist with SEC reporting including streamlining process.
- Assist with integrating financial reporting with internal reporting and budgeting models.
- Improve overall cash flow modeling.
- Assist in quarterly and annual forecasting of SBA.
- Other projects and duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Work with Talent Acquisition to recruit, interview, select, hire, and employ a talented and diverse group of high-performing team members.
- Provide oversight and direction to team members in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures.
- Coach, mentor, and develop team members, including overseeing new team member onboarding and providing career development planning and growth opportunities.
- Empower team members to take ownership of their job and goals. Delegate responsibilities as needed and provide routine constructive feedback on performance.
- Create a culture that is consistent with the organization's focus on team member engagement, and that aligns with the organization's mission, vision, and values.
- Lead team members using a performance management and development-focused approach to assist in goal setting, two-way feedback, and performance development planning.
- Lead team members to meet the organization's expectations for productivity, quality, and goal accomplishment.
What You’ll Need – Qualifications & Requirements
- Bilingual in English/Portuguese required for Portuguese speaking countries
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field of study;
- accounting experience; public company and public accounting firm experience and Real Estate/ Property Management or construction accounting experience preferred.
- of experience in management of people and/or process with demonstrated knowledge and understanding of managerial duties in staffing, training and development, performance management and employee relations.
- International Travel
- Valid Government Issued Driver's License
- Valid Government Issued Passport
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Valid CRC required (For Brazil only)
