About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Fraud Analyst Team Lead to supervise and guide a team of fraud analysts in identifying and preventing fraudulent activity. This role combines hands-on fraud detection with leadership responsibilities, including performance coaching, workflow management, and cross-team collaboration to improve fraud controls.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of fraud analysts, providing daily oversight, feedback, and support.
- Monitor operational metrics and fraud trends, review and escalate complex or high-risk fraud cases.
- Develop and refine fraud detection processes, rules, and workflows.
- Collaborate with data science, account management, product and customer support teams to improve detection systems
- Prepare and review regular reports on fraud KPIs, team productivity, and emerging patterns.
- Participate in the onboarding, and continuous training of team members.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in fraud detection, fraud operations, or risk analysis.
- 2+ year in a team lead or supervisory role.
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills with attention to detail.
- Experience with SQL - MUST. Experience with R preferred.
- Flexibility to work with global teams.
- This is a hybrid position - must have the ability to work 2-3 days from Sao Paulo office.
