THE ROLE
We are seeking a driven, organised and agile Inside Sales professional to join the Phastar Commercial team, as an Inside Sales Representative.
The Inside Sales Representative at Phastar plays a critical role in driving lead generation, nurturing, qualification, and pipeline origination. The successful individual will work closely with the Commercial and Marketing teams to identify and engage prospects, qualify inbound and outbound opportunities, and contribute to revenue growth. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is keen to be a key member of the Inside Sales function, and is open to the idea of remaining within Inside Sales or developing into more of a Business Development focused role.
This position is fully remote (although can be office based or hybrid, depending on the location of the successful candidate). The successful candidate can be located anywhere in the UK or Europe.

- Develop a clear understanding of Phastar’s biometrics expertise and effectively communicate its value to clients
- Introduce Phastar’s offerings to new clients and secure meetings for the Business Development team
- Proactively research accounts and identify new business opportunities aligned with Phastar’s capabilities
- Qualify opportunities through a structured lead management process
- Follow up promptly and effectively on MQLs (Marketing Qualified Leads) generated through digital campaigns, events, content marketing, and webinars to assess interest and qualify opportunities
- Partner with Marketing to plan, execute, and refine lead generation campaigns that align with Phastar’s go-to-market strategy and target verticals
- Ensure clear and consistent feedback loops between Sales and Marketing on lead quality, campaign effectiveness, and conversion data
- Report creation on MQL activity/metrics
- Execute high-volume, targeted lead generation campaigns focused on Phastar’s services and solutions
- Support the development of sales strategies to increase account penetration and outbound engagement
- Leverage tools like Salesforce and HubSpot (or other marketing automation systems) to monitor campaign performance, track engagement, and manage lead progression through the funnel
- Participate in regular Sales and Marketing alignment meetings to discuss pipeline status, campaign results, upcoming initiatives, and cross-functional improvements
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning to refine targeting and outreach strategies
- Participate in internal sales meetings to align on strategy and support business development efforts
- 2+ years of experience in a sales focused role within the CRO/pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry
- Scientific knowledge (understanding of clinical trials/terminology)
- Self-starting with a passion for continuous learning (committed to on-going training and development to stay up to date with industry trends/best practice etc.)
- Excellent communicator (verbal and written), building strong relationships with clients and colleagues
- Problem solving skills, and solution orientated
- Team player/collaborator striving to common goals
