Job Summary
The client is seeking a Technical Product Owner to focus on Identity & Access Management (IAM) capabilities critical to their platform security. In this role, you will collaborate closely with engineering teams, security experts, and business stakeholders to define, enhance, and deliver solutions that support authentication, authorization, and secure access to our digital products. You will own the refinement of product stories related to identity, authentication, and access control, ensuring seamless user experiences that meet the highest standards of security and compliance.
Responsibilities
Become deeply familiar with client’s identity and access management systems and business requirements.
Distill highly technical subject matter related to IAM into concepts easily understood by both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Own and manage the product backlog for IAM-related initiatives, prioritizing development based on business needs and security requirements.
Collaborate with Product Managers to shape quarterly roadmaps that advance our identity and access control capabilities.
Define and maintain detailed feature specifications for:
-Identity & Access Management (IAM)
Authentication mechanisms (OAuth2, API Keys, SSO, MFA)
-Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
-Partner with engineering and security teams to ensure successful delivery of identity-related features.
Continuously engage with stakeholders to refine requirements and ensure alignment on technical solutions.
Maintain an insatiable curiosity for understanding how our systems work at a fundamental level.
Qualifications and Job Requirements
5+ years of experience working in or around Agile software development teams.
3+ years of experience with Identity, Authentication, and Access Control systems.
Familiarity with concepts such as:
-Keycloak (highly preferred)
-OAuth2
-Single Sign-On (SSO)
-Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
-API Keys management
-Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
-Strong understanding of system logic, order of operations, and how technical systems interact.
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into digestible formats for diverse audiences.
