Design, develop, and optimize operational and financial models for logistics networks and distribution centers. The objective is to support strategic decision-making in expansion, consolidation, relocation, or redesign of the logistics network, ensuring operational efficiency and economic viability.As part of Rappi, you will be responsible for:
Model logistics networks considering operational variables (transport, warehousing, material handling, lead times, capacities).
Build financial models that project capital expenditure (CAPEX), operational expenditure (OPEX), profitability, ROI, and TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) of logistical alternatives.
Evaluate scenarios for the location and sizing of distribution centers (Greenfield, Brownfield, or re-engineering).
Develop optimization models for transportation flows, inventory levels, and route design.
Analyze financial impacts of logistics decisions: service rates, transportation costs, warehousing costs, inventory, and penalties.
Collaborate with finance, commercial, and operational areas to align assumptions and validate scenarios.
Prepare executive reports with insights, sensitivity analysis, and data-driven recommendations.
Document assumptions, methodologies, and results of the mode

Mathematical modeling applied to logistics (linear programming, integer programming, heuristics).
Proficiency in logistics network modeling software (e.g., Llamasoft Supply Chain Guru, AnyLogistix, Coupa, AIMMS, or equivalent).
Data analysis tools: SQL, Python, R, Power BI or Tableau.
Financial modeling: development of financial projections, discounted cash flow models, sensitivity analysis, CAPEX/OPEX.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and simulation tools.
Knowledge of distribution center management, logistics operations, and transportation
