POS Project Manager

The POS Project Manager leads teams accountable for achieving POS project objectives, implementation of new equipment and technologies, meeting time and budget requirements, directing all project resources in accordance with project guidelines in order to realize the desired business goals for the project(s) while driving strong customer satisfaction. The POS Project Manager determines project risks, defines corrective action and tracks the projects to closure. POS Project Manager keeps teams well-informed on project developments through literature, contacts, and industry competition. This position is to liaise POS strategy for Brazil, Brand Marketing, Commercialization, Business Development and Operations.

Essential Job Functions:

The ideal candidate must possess strong organization and time management with an ability to balance the big picture while managing small moving pieces:

 Develop POSM solutions based on shopper information, according to different retail types.
 Develop POSM local vendors for the countries and/or control importation when needed.
 Maintenance of various POS ordering and reference platforms for the region.
 Communicate monthly POS updates and inventory reporting to Sales Channels. 
Quality control of new POS materials, providing feedback to key stakeholders on all discoveries and opportunity. 
Work with Southern Cone teams on POS requirements for Bottlers and specific retailers; on occasion attend meetings with customers – chain specific projects.
 Work together with POS Procurement Manager to manage POS portfolio.
 Occasionally, communicate and present POS state of the business at Sales, Marketing and Operation meetings.

Position Requirements:

The successful candidate will possess the following knowledge, skills, education and experience:

 Bachelor’s Degree in communications or business, or equivalent industry experience.
 Proficient in Microsoft Office programs: Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, Outlook. SAP is favorable.
 Field Sales experience with proven success in this role.
 Solid knowledge of merchandising and how Monster Energy should develop POS to fit our merchandising strategies at retail.
 Strong Project Management and Reporting skills.
 Strong interpersonal and communication skills (listening, written and oral) with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of other departments.
 Extremely organized and detail-oriented
 Self-starter that can question / challenge information being given, identifies gaps and areas for improvements.
 Ability to handle lots of information and to stay on task.
 Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and flexibility to accommodate demanding projects schedules.
 Self-managed priority setting in a highly dynamic environment.
 Quick learner who can pick up new changes with an open and flexible attitude
 Able to speak/read/write in English
 Must be based in Brazil
